This is soooo helpful! You have done an amazing job of mixing the Annie Sloan paint colors and sharing your results in a CREATIVE and easy to understand way!!
Hi Leslie - this is Pernille from Hønsehuset writing. What a great blog you have made !! Super ! I´m really looking forward to follow you. Have a great evening. Pernille
I agree, my also NEW FAVORITE! I have shared the link already with a AS Q&A Forum (private board)! (and your Pinterest page) Will post on FB with my friends there as well. I think at no matter what 'color' level one is at, your blog and photos will be a refill for low creative juices out there! Do you have YOUR work separate to view? I think most of the photos I viewed on here are 'inspirational'.
Thanks for asking. I try to post at least 2 original projects per week. I try to be clear in my descriptions which are my work and which ones are inspirational ideas.Of course not always but if the photo looks very styled with accessories and background, you can count on it being inspirational.I always try to credit the original source but sometimes it is not sourced beyond Pinterest. As blogging is taking up more and more time, Im learning I always need to schedule designated hours for painting and projects. Write me anytime you have a question about the blog or my work and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I love getting questions! Thanks again, Leslie
This blog of yours is great! I recently undertook a minor restoration/painting of a small bedside cupboard with five small drawers and lovely old-style handles. I used a base of Old White and then painted the drawer front with Antoinette, followed by clear wax and then a little dark wax to distress. I was going to sell it on but now can't part with it!! This comment is all the way from New Zealand.

ReplyDeleteHi Liz,
DeleteThanks. I'd love to see a photo of your cupboard. Did you post it somewhere?
Leslie
Is there an additive to slow down the drying process of AS paint?
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Clair
The progressions photo is extremely helpful! Is there somewhere I can find the ratios?
ReplyDeleteDid I miss something . .? Where is how to get that finish?
